I bought a bears breeches at the plant sale last year and look at it now!
Acanthus mollis (Oyster Plant) likes to live in a large localized clump...and the flower is spectacular _
It can survive for decades where its planted and looks great...
And did you know that the Corinthian Column in Greek and Roman architecture was modeled after the flower of the Bears Breeches?
Get one for your garden, but make sure it has plenty of room!
