It seems like it has taken forever, but I think (hope?) we can finally put the Winter season behind us. Here are some signs:

- The 2013 Master Gardener Hotline opened this morning, and we've already had two calls.
- My Siberian Squill popped up this weekend.
- My peas are in.

- Snowbirds are returning, and MG Snowbird Nancy Miller was greeted with these blooming hellebores when she got back, along with another spring harbinger, who we gardeners have learned to like (from a distance, anyway), given their meal preferences for voles, and other garden enemies.
