PHMC historical marker and new plants across sidewalk from Gass House |
Last Saturday's (April 28, 2012) cold and wet weather didn't deter Cindy Stead and her
Gass Garden team from planting. Although not fun for folks doing the work, the plants themselves are better off going into the ground on cool, rainy spring days, to minimize
transplant shock.
