Victory Garden 2012 Log - May 29th

Master Gardeners Mary Crooks and Penny Buckus discussed raised bed vegetable gardening on Tuesday, May 29th, capping off their presentation with building one that was then moved to the garden and planted with herbs.

Weeding and Cultivating the Onions

Weeds took off after the rain.  Next week, we'll be mulching with newspapers and straw.

Raised Bed Plantings Coming Along

First harvest coming up - lettuces, radishes, and maybe some beets - probably next week.
