I watched a couple of videos from The Garden Nerd, and The PodChef, and read some instructions on Braiding Garlic pulled from the web. Here's the result, using that soft neck variety, Inchelium Red, featured here.
Bill Dorman gave me some bulbs of a hard neck variety, originally from Chris Mayer at the Wilson College Fulton Farm, so I'll be growing some of them next year. Not too bad for a beginner.
